Privacy Policy
Your plays stay on your iPad. We don't track you.
The short version
- No account. You never sign up or give us your name or email to use the app.
- Your plays are stored on your device. We can't see them. They never leave your iPad or iPhone unless you choose to share them.
- No ads. No tracking. No selling data. Ever.
- Subscriptions go through Apple. Apple handles your payment. We never see your card number.
Who we are
Timeout Board is made by Lee Green Basketball Inc, a Texas company run by basketball coaches. When this policy says "we" or "us," that's who it means. You can reach us at support@timeoutboard.com.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you draw — plays, player positions, the replay recording, your court choice, and your settings — is saved in the app's private storage on your own device. We don't run a server that receives your plays. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
If you use iCloud Backup or device backups, Apple may include the app's data in your backup. That is between you and Apple, under Apple's privacy policy.
What we collect
We don't collect personal information. The app has no login, no analytics, and no advertising code.
The one exception is subscriptions. If you subscribe to Timeout Board Coach, two things happen:
- Apple processes the payment through your Apple ID. Apple tells us a subscription is active, but not who you are or how you paid.
- RevenueCat, a service we use to check whether a subscription is active, receives a random ID created on your device (not your name or email), your purchase receipt, and basic device details like your iOS version. RevenueCat uses this only to tell the app whether to unlock Coach features. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy.
That's it. We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, or anything else.
Sharing a play
If you use your device's share sheet to send a play (for example, by AirDrop, text message, or email), it goes wherever you send it. That's your choice and your action — we're not involved and don't receive a copy.
Kids
Timeout Board is built for coaches and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you think a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
- Delete your data: delete a play inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything.
- Cancel a subscription: on your device, go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Apple controls this, not us.
- Ask us anything: email support@timeoutboard.com. We answer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have the right to ask what personal data a company holds about you and to have it deleted. Because we don't hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to show or delete — but you can always ask, and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll also tell you inside the app before it takes effect.
